Terms of Service

Welcome to Clean Living Solutions LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By booking or using our cleaning services, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Services

We provide residential cleaning services in Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan, as listed on our website.

Service may be declined if conditions are unsafe, unsanitary, or otherwise not suitable.

2. Booking & Payment

All bookings must be made online or through approved channels.

Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

Recurring services are billed automatically per session.

Prices may change; clients will be notified before changes take effect.

For recurring bookings, your payment method will be securely saved on file to facilitate future charges, including any applicable cancellation or commitment fees described in these Terms.

3. Promotional Codes & Discounts

Promotional codes are subject to eligibility requirements and may be limited in use, duration, or availability.

First-time customer codes (e.g. FIRSTCLEAN) are valid only for clients with no prior completed bookings and may not be combined with other offers.

Seasonal promotional codes are valid only during the applicable promotional period as published on our website.

Referral codes are for personal use only and may not be resold, transferred, or used fraudulently.

Discounts are applied to the base service cost only and do not apply to add-on services, extras, or applicable taxes.

We reserve the right to revoke a promotional discount and charge the standard rate if eligibility requirements are found to have been misrepresented.

4. Discounts for Recurring Cleanings

To qualify for our discounted recurring rates, clients must complete a minimum number of cleanings: Weekly service requires 4 cleanings, Bi-Weekly service requires 4 cleanings, and Monthly service requires 2 cleanings.

By booking a recurring service, you authorize Clean Living Solutions LLC to charge any difference between the discounted rate paid and the standard one-time rate to your payment method on file, should you cancel before completing the required minimum.

The backcharge will be calculated based only on sessions already completed at the discounted rate. Sessions not yet completed will not be charged.

If no valid payment method is on file at the time of cancellation, the outstanding balance will be invoiced and remains due within 14 days.

5. Property Condition & Service Scope

Clients are responsible for accurately representing the condition of their property at the time of booking.

A standard cleaning assumes the property is in a generally maintained condition. Properties with excessive clutter, heavy soiling, hoarding conditions, or buildup requiring significantly more time or effort than a standard clean are considered to require a deep clean.

If a cleaner arrives and determines the property condition exceeds what was booked, they will document the condition with photographs and contact Clean Living Solutions LLC before proceeding.

In such cases, Clean Living Solutions LLC reserves the right to: (a) apply an upcharge to reflect the additional time and effort required, (b) reschedule the appointment as a deep clean at the appropriate rate, or (c) decline to perform the service if conditions are deemed unsafe or unsanitary.

Clients who knowingly book a standard clean for a property requiring a deep clean may be charged the difference upon the cleaner's assessment, with or without prior notice.

Photographic documentation taken by the cleaner for condition assessment purposes is for internal use only and will not be shared publicly.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled service time are free of charge.

Same-day cancellations - cancellations made on the scheduled date of service - are charged a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total service cost.

No-shows - where the cleaner arrives and is unable to access the property - are charged the full service cost.

Cancellation and no-show fees are flat administrative charges and will be applied to the payment method on file automatically.

We reserve the right to reschedule services due to weather, staffing, or emergencies at no charge to the client.

7. Access to Property

Clients must ensure access to the property at the scheduled time.

If a cleaner arrives and cannot gain entry, the full service fee will be charged as a no-show.

Clients are responsible for securing pets in a separate room and storing valuables safely before the cleaner arrives.

Clean Living Solutions LLC is not liable for pets that interfere with the service or valuables left unsecured.

8. Quality Guarantee

Issues must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.

We will make reasonable efforts to resolve concerns, including re-cleaning if appropriate.

Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and issued where we are unable to resolve the concern through re-cleaning.

9. Liability

We are insured but not liable for pre-existing damage, normal wear, fragile or high-value items not disclosed in advance, or allergic/medical reactions to standard cleaning products.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the cost of the service performed.

10. Damage Claims

Any damage believed to have occurred during a cleaning must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.

Claims must include a written description of the damage and photographic evidence submitted to our support team.

Claims reported after 24 hours may not be eligible for review.

We reserve the right to assess damage independently before issuing any resolution, repair, or compensation.

11. Photography & Recording

Clients may not photograph, film, or record cleaners without their prior consent.

The use of hidden cameras or recording devices during a cleaning session is strictly prohibited.

Clean Living Solutions LLC reserves the right to remove a cleaner from a property if recording without consent is suspected.

Security cameras in common areas are permitted provided the client discloses their presence at the time of booking.

12. Communications

By booking with Clean Living Solutions LLC, clients consent to receive service-related communications via email and SMS, including booking confirmations, reminders, and updates.

Standard message and data rates may apply.

Clients may opt out of marketing communications at any time by contacting us or using the unsubscribe option in any email.

Service-related messages such as booking confirmations cannot be opted out of while an active booking exists.

13. Independent Contractors

Our cleaners are independent contractors vetted and managed by Clean Living Solutions LLC.

Clients who hire cleaners directly outside of Clean Living Solutions LLC within 12 months of introduction will be charged a referral fee of $500.

14. Privacy

We collect and use client information only for scheduling, communication, and billing.

When you book, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages such as booking confirmations, reminders, and service updates. You may opt out of marketing SMS at any time by replying STOP.

We do not sell or share personal information except as required for payment processing or by law.

Payment methods are stored securely via our payment processor and are never stored on our servers.

15. Termination of Service

We may terminate services for non-payment, unsafe conditions, harassment, or repeated cancellations.

Outstanding balances remain due upon termination regardless of the reason for termination.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.

Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kings County, New York.

By booking with Clean Living Solutions LLC, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these Terms of Service.
